Glendalough Pot Still Irish Whiskey Reiew #328 from WhiskyJason

WhiskyJason reviews Glendalough Pot Still Irish Whiskey

An Irish pot still whiskey from Glendalough in the Wicklow Mountains just outside of Dublin. It’s made from a 1:2 mashbill of malted and unmalted Irish barley, and distilled in a pot still, but the whiskey wasn’t distilled by Glendalough, but rather probably at Great Northern Distillery. It’s matured in bourbon casks and then finished for a year in Irish virgin oak casks, made from sustainably felled 140 year old trees from the woods surrounding the distillery and then bottled at 43% ABV.
